A Century of Centuries
Playing against Bangladesh in Dhaka, on 15th March 2012, legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar became the first - and the only cricketer to score a hundred international centuries.
The legendary batsman hit the mystic three-figure mark for the last time in his international career.
Thinking of the occasion, the Board of Control for Cricket in India tweeted "A century of centuries! #OnThisDay in 2012, the Master Blaster @sachin_rt became the only batsman in the history of cricket to notch up a Hundred points 100th international hundred."

At the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka, the batsman stood against Bangladesh representing India for the Asia Cup. He brought up the century off 138 deliveries and finished with 114 off 147 balls.
The legendary batsman helped India finish at 289/5. Unfortunately, his final international century came to a loss.
Sachin Tendulkar's 100 centuries are followed by former Australian Captain Ricky Ponting at 71 centuries, with Virat Kohli close behind at 70 Centuries so far.
Tendulkar completed his career with a score of 200 Tests, 463 ODIs and a lone T20 International matches. He scored 15,921 runs in the longest format and 18426 in ODIs and is the highest run-scorer in both formats.
