IND vs ENG Suryakumar Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, Krunal Pandya potential debutants
1 minIndia will have an 18-member squad for the upcoming One-day International (ODI) series. The announcement was made by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Friday, 19th of March 2021.
Suryakumar Yadav, Prasidh Krishna and Krunal Pandya are the potential debutantes in this series. The ODI series will be against England, a three-match ODI series that will commence from the 23rd of March 2021 in the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
Although India lost in the opening Test in Chennai, it has won the Test series rather smoothly. After India beat England by eight runs in the fourth Twenty20 International (T20I) the series is at level 2-2.
Suryakumar Yadav, the right-hander shined through the headlines for his magnificent performance, his half-century in his second T20I. His 31-ball 57 was important for India for securing a winning total of 185 for eight.
Krunal Pandya received a maiden call-up to the India ODI squad. He has played 18 T20Is and recently received the Vijay Hazare Trophy after he scored two unbeaten hundreds in addition to a couple of half-centuries for Baroda.
Prasidh Krishna also appeared in the Vijay Hazare Trophy representing Karnataka, taking 14 wickets in 7 matches.
